Post Op Report

Well, I had to have the total ACL reconstruction so it was more than I bargained for. I have to have my knee totally immobilized for two weeks so it will be at least that long on crutches. I see the doctor on March 3 to decide when and how to start rehab. Thanks to the Harris' family, our house is now wireless so I'm able to at least be in touch w/ the online world. Anywho, just thought I'd let you know. And yes, I am bored. Pray for me, but pray for Carla more!!

  1. Glad that you are on the mend! Think of this as the vacation that you never got around to... of course who want a vacation like that? No, don't do that.

Think of it as an opportunity to reflect on virtues of surgery and .... nope. That one stinks too.

Think on this time as a way to give back to yourself for all the hard work you give to so many. HAHAHAHA! Thats Funny! I crack me up!

How about recovering, resting and enjoying your wonderful wife puddy. Rest up!

  15. By the way, did anyone come and see you while you were at the hospital?

  16. You know Greg, funny you should ask. I have an accountability group with some pastor-friends and I thought that they might visit. One even lives very close to the Medical Center. I don't want to reveal his identity because I don't want him to feel badly but, in pig latin, his name is isChray indleKay and his blog name is indlingsKay.

But you know, other than my dedicated wife, the ONLY person to visit me in the hospital was Greg Cox. I guess it is times like this that you find out who your true friends are.

And you know, come to think of it, Greg and Tracy brought over a yummy meal for us to enjoy.

In short, I'm OFFENDED that nobody else in my group cares...
