Tuesdays...I meet with a group of people, some staff, some friends to brainstorm our worship services. What a blast. This has certainly helped to make me a better preacher. I'm not the most creative person in the world, and it is a blessed experience to get creative people around you!

I've been 6 weeks at the gym now. I am really feeling much better. This has been not only great for my body, but for my mind too. I've not yet found myself dreading going. Tomorrow, a friend is going to show me the ropes on the free weight equipment. Should be fun...

Tonight is our Lead Team meeting of C3. I can't wait. We really accomplish things in this process. For the first time in a long time, I find these gatherings a blessing and with real purpose. I'm surrounded by wonderful people here...people who have a glimpse of the Kingdom! What a blast...

I'm new to this whole blogging thing and I'm still trying to figure out how to lay out the page...

I have been having a fantastic week. On Sunday, I just sensed that God was doing a real cleansing in me that needed to take place. I am so thankful for a church family that loves and supports me. I have been blessed by so many cards, emails, and phone calls this week, it is amazing. I wonder if I'm here to be the pastor or to be pastored! Anywho, I am just sensing the presence of the Lord in my life in powerful ways. As my best friend Harvey reminded me the other day, when we feel like God is distant, it is not because He moved!

I am looking forward to a day off tomorrow with my wife Carla. She is applying for nursing school...a big step after 15 years since college graduation. I'm very excited for her, and proud!!! I am tired today...too much stuff going on yesterday and not enough rest. I may even sleep in tomorrow...until 6:30!

As our bishop says, "the journey continues..."
