Why can't we all just get along?

"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore."

That's what God said to us through David in Psalm 133. What unites us? Jesus. We can't all get along unless we all turn ourselves over to Jesus....until we have "one Lord, one faith, one baptism..." (Ephesians 4:5)

Sorry world...there is no peace without the Prince of Peace...

You are correct in that there can be no true, lasting peace without Jesus, and really until he returns in glory.

Still, it behooves us to earnestly strive for the day when...
He shall judge between the nations, and shall arbitrate for many peoples; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. - Isaiah 2:4

Jesus is present wherever bombs stop blowing little kids apart and wherever bullets stop flying!

And who said I wasn't striving for that day? However, the striving isn't for peace alone. That is treating the symptom. The striving must be for the King to realize His Kingdom...that is treating the disease. Preach it brother.

You are correct...and I know that you're striving for the Day, brother.

And indeed we both are. Blessings on you, my bro.
