Sound the Feasting Horn

Carla and I feasted today...bacon-wrapped filet mignon on the grill, grilled shrimp and veggie shishkabobs, and homemade black raspberry pie. I'm very glad that the feast was not ruuned.

"Sure Carla - we can buy all of that stuff for a feast! But you have to walk to church on Sunday."

Well, at least we have our priorities straight. Go ahead, run, swim, bike. As for me and my household, we will eat! (and if you see Carla walking to Moon Twp. to school today, could you please give her a ride?)

I saw her walking on Rochester Road Sunday morning, but because I was more worried about getting to my Triathlon, the whole Good Samaritan thing got thrown out the window!

Which one is you, and which one is Carla? The outfits may have been overkill!

I was in the toga...Carla plays the horn so that was a natural choice for her.

BTW, I'm almost ashamed to admit it on such a public forum but we were both naked under those outfits.

Now the illusion is ruuned

Speaking of feasts... I forgot to tell you on Sunday.... Saturday we picked up a new grill. We went to Lowes's looking for deck furniture. Couldn't agree on what to buy, so we bought a new grill!

(The grill of my dreams!)

It looks a lot like the one on the slide for the church Father's Day picnic. (Minus the hemi.... darn...)
