Mondays!
I wrote this post a long time ago...but I ain't feelin' it today! I am tired and having a hard time getting my mind to engage. Anyone else feeling the Monday blahs?

Me too! The holiday was such a time of excitement, and my house was filled with ALL my childrens voices--which gives me so much pleasure. When I took Aren to the bus stop I came home to a quiet house. There are times that every young mother just wants moments of silence. I felt myself, as an older mother, a little sad. Plus, it was raining and gloomy. As I felt the tears running down my face I felt a cold nose come up to me, and somehow wanting to comfort me. My dog Kelley helped me to remember that she loves me, and God is with me -- I felt myself smiling, and then Drue sent me an
IM that said "Thanks for being my mom"! I then went off to clean up from ALL of my children--still smiling and thankful!!

yeah... BLAH MONDAY. The rain today was horrible and made it even worse. It's the holiday hangover, I think. Tomorrow will be blah Tuesday for my kids as they return to school after a long break.
